The Resilient Retail Game Plan Episode 163

Selling Socks, Saving Wildlife And The Art Of Wholesale With Lucy Jeffrey

Podcast show notes

The Art Of Wholesale With Lucy Jeffrey

In episode 163 of The Resilient Retail Game Plan, I speak to Lucy Jeffrey, founder of bamboo sock brand, Bare Kind. Having started her business as a side hustle five years ago, Bare Kind is now partnered with over thirty charities and donates a percentage of its profits to protect endangered animals. With little to no prior experience in retail, Lucy has worked hard to build an amazing business, and shares some of her major successes (and advice), especially when it comes to wholesale.

In this podcast, we discuss balancing demand with manufacturing, the value of merchandising, and holding your nerve as a seasonal business. We also talk about the importance of taking a step back, consistently reviewing the state of your business and the benefits of learning more about how your products are made.

Bare Kind
We sell socks that save animals. We donate 10% of the profits from every pair to save the animals on the socks. Alongside this we have a new Youtube called Candid Founders which shares EVERYTHING (warts and all) that goes on in the business so other entrepreneurs can learn from us as we grow to 7 figures and beyond.
